Highlighting Our Small Business Heroes

March 25, 2020

With the uncertainty that has surrounded us recently, some amazing small business owners have stepped up to help our community in whatever way they can. We want to recognize their efforts!

Today’s Hero – Thomas Sherrer

Today we shine the spotlight on Thomas Sherrer, the operator of Mellow Mushroom in Kennesaw and owner of Poole’s Pharmacy in Marietta, who donated and personally delivered pizzas to feed all of WellStar Kennestone’s emergency room staff this week. Pleasantly surprised was an understatement! Small gestures can have the greatest impact and considering what they have experienced these past few weeks, these folks were more than appreciative.

Please support local small businesses like Kennesaw’s Mellow Mushroom – delivery anyone? – who continue to support our entire community!

If you have other small business heroes that you would like to highlight, please send them to our communications & outreach manager, Luci Morgan
