Our Vision for Town Center
The Town Center Master Plan builds upon everything we’ve achieved since 1997 and guides us into the next chapter of our success. Through thoughtful development, transportation and connectivity, and trails and greenspace, we will make this vision a reality:
Making Town Center a vibrant, accessible community that integrates natural assets into a prosperous business center, creating an inviting regional destination.

The South Barrett Reliever is a road realignment project to give drivers an alternate route around Barrett Parkway, one of the busiest corridors in Town Center. In Phase 3, the roadway will continue from where Phase 2 ended, then reach across I-75 and the Managed Lanes and extend to Barrett Parkway via Roberts Court.
The first lighted bridge in Cobb county, the Connector improves access and reduces congestion. But its most striking feature is the bridge design that reflects the iconic shape of Kennesaw Mountain.
It lies midpoint along the Noonday Creek Trail and offers amenities such as a 60-space parking lot, water fountain for people and pets, bike share station, open green space, STEM playground, airplane-shaped climbing structure, pavilion, and a restroom facility designed to replicate the nearby airport control tower.
Through the Town Center Community Alliance, we celebrate the district’s unique character and engage our community with creative placemaking projects.
