Alisha Smith is the Director of Projects and Planning for the Town Center Community Improvement District (TCCID).
In this role, she helps advance the vision of the TCCID by developing infrastructure and place-making projects that address transportation and quality of life needs for the Town Center community. Alisha oversees the TCCID’s portfolio of projects and collaborates with both internal and external partners to ensure that these investments are managed wisely and achieved on time. She is also responsible for managing capital projects and community programs and planning.
Alisha has worked in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry for almost 20 years on a variety of projects both nationally and internationally. Before joining the TCCID, she served as Infrastructure Project Design and Development Manager at the Atlanta office of ARCADIS, U.S., Inc., where she was often lead project manager and consultant for the TCCID’s parks projects.
At ARCADIS, Alisha excelled in concept design and development, vetting new ideas and opportunities, project management and municipal program management. She gained experience in creating proposals, graphic presentations, writing grants, marketing and communications, and managing funding sources. Alisha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia’s School of Environmental Design.
Alisha was born and raised in Cobb County, and she supports the local art community, including fine arts, music and theater. In her spare time, she likes to travel, enjoy the outdoors, and explore her creative side by drawing and painting.
